has again teamed with brilliant pianist/arranger Joe
Millward and some of the elite of the Portland, Oregon
jazz scene. With a vocal style described by one listener
as “the missing link between Chet Baker and
Al Green”, Michael draws on his roots by giving
a nod to a couple of the immortal 60's British bands,
The Animals and The Beatles, while also paying homage
to some of the greatest composers of the twentieth
century such as Harold Arlen, George Gershwin, Mack
Gordon, and Oscar Levant. If your tastes run towards
vocalists who wear their hearts on their sleeves and
are emotionally invested in every note and lyric,
